Showcasing the truly global nature of Marcalliance and inspiring participants to expand their professional horizons courageously, the 2025 Annual Meeting of the alliance took place on April 3-4 in Casablanca, Morocco. The IABLONSCHI & ASOCIATII team members had the pleasure of participating in this much-anticipated event which brough together around 150 lawyers from 30 countries, including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, the UK, Mexico, Morocco, Switzerland, Ecuador, Vietnam, and many others.
This year’s event marked a significant milestone for our firm, as IABLONSCHI & ASOOCIATII was officially presented as a new member of Marcalliance during the General Meeting on April 4. We are honored to be a member of Marcalliance – together, we aim to explore fresh perspectives and complementary strengths to an already dynamic international platform.
The conference agenda focused on welcoming new member firms and setting the stage for their rapid inclusion in the overall structure of Marcalliance, as well as ensuring a complete and insightful update from the alliance and its working groups (Employment Law, Dispute Resolution, Corporate & Transaction, Energy Law, IT/IP/Data, CoSec)
Interactions between participants were designed to ensure the following:
- Strengthening cross-border collaboration and client relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities and joint initiatives
- Exploring innovative ways to promote and deliver legal services internationally
- Developing shared tools and resources for alliance members
An inspiring highlight of the gathering was the keynote by Abdou Diop, Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Morocco, who emphasized the immense potential of Africa as an emerging economic hub and the strategic role that law firms can play in unlocking new opportunities on the continent.
