In recent years, he translated this experience into a niche practice rooted in the taxation field, namely the anti-fraud control assistance practice. The practice combines extensive cross-specializations, including taxation, criminal, commercial, and employment law. The immediate benefits that corporations enjoy through this type of approach are related to preventing criminal indictments and reducing the risk of tax authorities assessing additional tax liabilities. 

Ionut has a keen interest in transactional work – including plain vanilla mergers and acquisition, as well as greenfield and brownfield multi-layered investments and joint ventures, leveraging his extensive experience in complex projects entailing sophisticated tax and corporate structuring, and negotiations, to offer valuable insights and guidance in this field.
