Denisa Tudorache

Legal Advisor

With over 6 years of experience in intellectual property law, Denisa has built deep, hands-on expertise across the full spectrum of IP procedures and portfolio strategy, combining sharp legal analysis with a practical, client-centered approach.

As an IP portfolio manager, she oversees complex portfolios covering the full spectrum of protectable rights, including trademarks, industrial designs, and utility models, ensuring consistent monitoring and deadline compliance across multiple offices and legal systems. She actively contributes to portfolio development strategy by identifying opportunities for expansion, assessing gaps in protection, and advising on the most effective routes for extending coverage and protecting brand identity, whether through national filings, EU-wide registration, or international designations under the Madrid System, working with offices including OSIM, EUIPO, WIPO, and BOIP.

Her work in portfolio management extends beyond the initial filing — from maintaining and renewing registrations to structuring licensing agreements and overseeing the transfer of rights, ensuring that every asset is legally protected and properly positioned to deliver real commercial value. With solid experience across the full range of contentious IP procedures, from oppositions and appeals to coexistence negotiations and agreement drafting, she guides clients through every stage of a dispute, from the first signs of conflict through to final resolution. Her approach to conflict management starts before any formal filing, focusing on amicable negotiation, consistent portfolio monitoring, and the early identification of potential risks.

Her background spans both client relations and business administration, bringing together active IP portfolio management with the operational and financial running of a specialized IP agency. She ensures clients are supported at every stage — from initial concept and brand clearance through to enforcement and dispute resolution — focusing on building tailored protection strategies aligned with real commercial objectives and managing risk proactively.

Studies in Chemistry at the University of Bucharest shaped her analytical approach and attention to detail, drawing her toward the legal side of intellectual property, complemented by Law studies at Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest.
