Adina Rotaru

Adina advises clients on corporate transactions, competition law, foreign direct investments (FDI), real estate and intellectual property matters. She has extensive experience in share deals, corporate structuring and real estate transactions, including sale-purchase agreements and lease arrangements for commercial assets.

Her competition practice covers vertical agreements, compliance programs, dawn raid preparedness, state aid matters and merger control — including notifications before the Romanian Competition Council and the European Commission in transactions involving sole or joint control.

In the field of intellectual property, she assists clients with trademark registration, protection and assignment. She has also been actively involved in competition policy initiatives, contributing to projects aimed at aligning Romanian legislation with EU law.

She speaks Romanian and English fluently, has professional working proficiency in French, and basic knowledge of Italian. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2009, having graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, in 2008.
