The Tax Controversy team specializes in the management and resolution of contentious issues and disputes against the Romanian tax authorities.

Ionut is the Managing Partner of Iablonschi & Asociatii also being the founding partner of the firm, member of the Bucharest Bar.

He has been practicing as an attorney-at-law for more than 10 years and has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, representing clients across a broad spectrum of industries in various substantive areas of practice, such as taxation, public administration, insolvency and public procurement.

Ionut found a particular dedication to the taxation field, becoming a relevant player in this market. Morever in recent years Ionut build a hole new practice in the taxation field putting the bases of the anti-fraud control assistance practice. The new practice covers a complex range of cross line specialization such as taxation, criminal law, commercial and employment law. The main focus of this new practice is aimed at both preventing criminal indictments as well as reducing the risk so that the tax authorities assess additional tax liabilities.

It is worth mentioning that in his activity, Ionut also presents a strong degree of specialization in the insolvency practice, having represented top players from various industry with great success.
